The man behind the counter was very helpful. Was looking for a shower mixing valve that was dated to say the least. He was able to find a rebuild kit that save my day. Can not thank him enough.

I tried to take back a sump pump that was not used and they refused to give me my money back or store credit, I purchased the wrong Sump Pump and the manager refused to work with me. I took a picture of the manager. Hector’s Hardware opened the Sump Pump and noticed everything was okay and the Sump Pump was not touched, I called other Hector’s Hardware and they could not help me. I no longer want Store Credit. I want my money back because they treated me back and called me a liar. Because of the condition of the box and the likelihood that the product may have been exposed to moisture, we’re unable to process the return under our standard return policy. Because of whatever you did, the item was not in saleable condition. You can ask your co-worker Dan. You said Dan is just an employee and can’t do anything. Dan examined the box. Dan opened the box to verify everything was there. I never used the Sump Pump and the box was the way I purchased it. Maybe you should not should a Greedy Store. I hope your store shutdown soon. You had a bad attitude and refused to give me back my money and I showed you my Receipt. My purchase date was April 1, 2026. I took the Sump Pump on April 2, 2026 and April 3, 2026. I never purchase anything place I can’t trust and respect, Let me he Buyer Beware when they shop at Hector’s Hardware!!! On June 26, 2026, I received a call from Depew Police Department. Hector’s Hardware tried to have me arrested. Depew Police Department stated this is now a crime matter, this is a civil matter. On June 27, 2026, I spoke to Depew Police Officer. The Depew Police Officer was very nice and fair. The Depew Police Officers asked me for my side of the story. I told the truth and same I am not in trouble. I called the bank and disputed the charge a couple months ago. After the bank the agreed with my decision. I asked the bank what do I with the Sump Pump. The bank said keep it safe and return Hector’s Hardware when they ask you for it. I asked the Depew Police Officer would he meet me at Hector’s Hardware to the Sump Pump. I don’t know the attitude of Hector’s Hardware and I needed a witness. The Depew Police Officer was so nice and he made sure I was safe when I returned the Sump Pump. Hector’s Hardware saw me drop off the Sump Pump and the Depew Officer had my back. I thanked the Depew Police Officer and he said I am not in any trouble. I can not believe Hector’s Hardware tried to have me arrested. I will never go there again. Watch your back when you go to Hector’s Hardware. This is how they treat their customers. This can all been avoided if Hector’s Hardware would have taken the Sump Pump originally. Now the truth is known about how Hector’s Hardware and how they treat their customers. They Refuse to give money back, store credit or even exchange, then call the Police on you. Shame on you Hector’s Hardware. We know your True Colors. You are a Money Hungry Company.
