I called for a service appointment and told them the problem up front. I was not given an estimate for the replacement (my fault for not asking). Once they confirmed my assessment, the work was just done. The techs were on site about 32 minutes — it would have been less, but they had to replace a fuse they blew. I received no invoice during the visit on Thursday. I requested one the following Monday morning and received it by email a few hours later. That same day I emailed asking whether a one-hour minimum applies for any visit and for the contactor brand, model, amp rating, and poles, because $255 seemed excessive for a residential part. The invoice billed a full hour of labor ($145) on top of an $89 show-up fee, plus the $255 contactor. I followed up a week later after hearing nothing. Still no response. The billing questions were ignored, and I never had a chance to approve the price before they replaced the part. I will not be using this company again.

Wonderful experience from the estimate to the install, and everything in between. Kevin and his crew installed a new boiler, indirect hot water system, and water softener. They showed up when they said they would, and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend McCourt Heating and Cooling.
