Top-tier company. We've been using Plitnick for decades for both my home and business. Always honest and high-quality, first-rate service. Today was incredible. We lost hot water and within two hours their crew was at our home and our water up and running. Cannot say enough.

After recommending Plitnick to several folks, we sadly remove that recommendation. We had a complicated problem, one of Plitnick plumbers visited several times in effort to diagnose. When we followed up we were told that plumber was no longer with Plitnick and an appointment was made with a new person - day 1, a no-show; day 2, a no-show again. No further communication. We found another plumbing company who diagnosed and fixed the problem over 2 days. Spoke to Plitnick office advising of intent to write this review. Was told we would be contacted. Crickets. We now have a new plumbing company who provides timely, professional service.

They came out to my house to inspect my problem. They charged a little under $100 just for the inspection fee. They promised this would include a written proposal to fix the problem with a quote. I never got a proposal. I followed up about two weeks later to ask if I can get the proposal that I paid so much money for. They said they would “check with their supervisor” and send an electrician for my plumbing problem. I was pretty confused why an electrician would need to solve a plumbing problem but I agreed even though I knew I would probably get charged for a second assessment fee. The electrician never came. No phone calls, no follow ups. Basically I paid a lot of money for someone to look in my house for about five minutes and tell me it needs to be fixed.

I am leaving three stars because they replied quickly to my request for A/C service, got it fixed and having the replacement part in the tech's truck. Otherwise I am not happy with the price they charged for said part (a 400% markup) and the excessive time the tech took in troubleshooting a problem that was pre-diagnosed on the control board and chose to ignore.
