Just an fyi.. they are not a construction company. The website is very misleading. They make it look like they are construction professionals who do mold remediation and basement waterproofing. I paid for a mold test with the expectation that they could provide me with a quote and steps to take to fix the problem. They do air quality sampling and send it off to be tested and explain the results. After that they told me to google a basement waterproofing company. Not what I was expecting after viewing the website. Customer service was fine, but the company is misrepresenting themselves online.

We had radon mitigation done in the Ithaca area and are happy with the results. Our readings were over 20 and are now averaging 0.16. Very happy about that! The crew day of were friendly and seemed knowledgeable, and got the job done in a couple hours. Scheduling took some time. I reached out in August 2025 to schedule, and never heard back until December. They mentioned they were busy and booked us an appointment for March 2026. On the day of the install, we were surprised that Ithaca Environmental & Construction Group was not on site, but rather a third party they contracted out to the do the job. Perhaps this was somewhere in the fine print and I just missed it, but we thought they would be onsite. It would have been nice when Ithaca Environmental reached out to confirm the appointment days prior for the install for them to tell us which local contractor crew would be doing work in our home. One question I had prior to the install was about if we were able to pick the location the radon mitigation would be installed. They said that the contractor would pick the location day of, but would give some options. On the day of install, the contractor didn't offer much guidance on where it should be installed, and left the choice up to us. So I would definitely suggest that you determine where you want it to go prior to the installation date, keeping noise and aesthetics in mind.

I hired the Ithaca Environmental & Construction Group to remove asbestos found in the basement of a home that my partner and I recently purchased. From the initial inspection to the actual removal, everything was done professionally and efficiently. The two-man crew sent to do the job arrived on schedule and got right to work. They obviously had done this kind of work before and knew exactly what to do. The house is quite old, and, as often happens in old homes, unforeseen issues arose. Asbestos, hidden in the initial inspection, was discovered. Also, a piece of ductwork was found to have seriously deteriorated. In both instances, I was quickly made aware of the issues and the work was able to continue. This company demonstrated that their employees communicate well with each other and the client. The work was done quickly and thoroughly and I'm very happy with the result. After completion, the crew showed me the results and I clearly understood everything that had been done. I absolutely recommend the Ithaca Environmental & Construction Group.
