Classic Home Services in Brooklyn has built a strong reputation for handling home comfort projects with care, clear communication, and a polished finish. Known as a reliable general contractor for heating and cooling upgrades, this team is a smart choice for homeowners looking for a smooth mini split installation or a complex air conditioning setup. Customers often praise the fair pricing, especially when the team helps avoid unnecessary extras and keeps the project focused on what the home actually needs.
What stands out most is the way the crew manages the entire process from start to finish. Clients mention punctual arrivals, clean work areas, and technicians who explain the options in plain language. Even when an install is not straightforward, the team stays responsive and works through the details until everything is running properly. That level of follow-through matters, especially for apartment and condo projects where coordination and precision make all the difference.
Homeowners also appreciate the attention to detail during HVAC installation projects, with systems installed neatly inside and out, then tested thoroughly before the job is considered complete. If you want a Brooklyn contractor that combines professionalism, fair value, and a genuinely helpful approach, Classic Home Services is an easy company to recommend.
Adding a review here so that anyone looking to have mini-splits installed doesn't miss the horrific reviews on yelp (go check it out!) In October 2025 I had mini-splits installed throughout my multi-family (tens of thousands of dollars). I trusted, per their website and so many good reviews, that they were licensed and knew what they were doing. Through a series of unfortunate events I have realized a number of major issues: 1. They lied about filing the rebate. I've contacted ConEd and they let me know that a rebate was never filed for my address. No idea what Nick did with all the statements he collected but it wasn't file a rebate. The rebates were worth at least 8k, which ConEd claims I cannot get anymore since the work was done too long ago. 2. They lied about being licensed. They are not licensed electrical contractors and they aren't licensed to handle refrigerants. I had two master licensed electricians and a licensed HVAC come to my house and instantly called out a number of electrical code violations including having non-metallic wiring (completely illegal in a building over 2 units), incorrectly sized breakers, access panels not being accessible, wire over 6ft left exposed, AND MORE! Fixing it will cost tens of thousands of dollars. 3. They are not able to honor their 12 yr warranty, since they are not licensed to do it and because they will not respond to messages. I call, email, etc and all they do is push off the issues over and over again or ignore me completely. I'm moving forward with hiring an attorney because of the cost of the damages which they have repeatedly chosen to ignore (I did try to contact them to fix it multiple times). It will not be a fun process but seems worth it to me because they are literally committing fraud (lying about being licensed can lead to jail time!). If you have a similar story please contact me, we can join forces!
Their estimate was very fair and we saved $9K that another company would have charged us for permits we didn’t need and architect’s drawings that weren’t necessary. I was dubious that what started as exemplary customer service wouldn’t end the same way especially since installing new condensers in our apartment ended up not being straightforward. In the end our A/C is up and running and ALL issues were sorted. Nick Fulciniti was incredibly commutative throughout our installation and even if patience was required, it proved to be a virtue!
Nick was referred to me by a friend . He was prompt and fair pricing . Will use him again and refer him to anyone looking for service .
Great experience from start to finish. The team did an excellent job installing our mini split system. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, kept the work area clean, and made sure the system was running perfectly before they left. The install looks clean and professional, and the unit is already making a huge difference in comfort. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mini split installation.
I called this company and they came right away. Fixed the problem and made me very happy. That's the result you get when you hire a professional.
