HMC Mechanical was outstanding for our heat pump installation. When we decided to switch to heat pump (from the 25+ year old system previously), we looked at a handful of companies. We went with HMC because they walked us through ALL of our options. Every other company quoted us to replace our coil + air handler system with an integrated (more expensive) unit; HMC was the one who pointed out we could continue to keep separate hydronic coils, which we didn't even know was a choice. This ended up saving a significant amount of money on the project. And of course, Hip (owner operator) was courteous, professional, and very flexible. He took care of the whole permitting process for us (something that one of the other companies was suggesting can be 'skipped'). He was also incredibly considerate of our schedule, very communicative and responsive, and even when something was outside of his control (a shipping delay) he went well above and beyond including going to the warehouse himself to try to resolve it. We would not hesitate to recommend HMC to anyone.

We moved in to our apartment 2 years ago knowing some of the biggies were going to need replacing pretty soon, so it wasn't a surprise when the old water heater went out. We were so fortunate to have neighbors recommend HMC to us! Not only was the work high quality, but he went above and beyond to squeeze us into his already packed schedule. Professional, polite, responsive, speedy, capable and knowledgeable, we were in such good hands. We have HMC saved in the contact list for any future HVAC needs.

Hip did a great job overall and was very patient and thoughtful. He and one other person replaced an entire HVAC system in one day. He also provided excellent customer service in multiple follow-ups after. Would recommend for anyone looking for an honest, no BS HVAC specialist.
