Had a great experience with Allen's Family H&C. They came to fix my boiler and were successful in less than 3 hours. They were $2600 less than the other company that begins with and A and ends with a son. The technician was knowledgeable and honest. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need like a service membership. I will definitely call them for my next boiler needs.

The older gent that came here did a great job..found mistakes that the other company made and repaired them...repaired everything I thought was wrong with it the other company didn't except..I was right...and the guy repaired it works great..thanks again

This past week I had Allen's Family Heating & Cooling replace my central air unit and out in a few furnace. We switched from oil to propane with the new (more) efficient systems they have now and let me tell you, the process was seamless! From making the call, to quick response and having someone come check the issues... to then on the day of the install having the team of Tim, Jake and Jesse come and remove the old system and put in the new... just amazing. Even seeing them work in such an organized and clean fashion was cool to see. not only did they install the new system, but they disassembled, the old AC unit, moved the new unit to the other side of the house (by request) - removed the oil tank, installed all the new piping for the propane, were all kind, courteous, and super respectful in any way answering any and all of my questions Allen's Family Heating - there's no other choice! 5-stars!

It’s been a while, but I had them replace my old furnace, put in a water heater for my upstairs apartment, install a central air conditioning unit and all went perfectly well and everything is working wonderfully. Also had to have my thermostat replaced. no problem. friendly and very reasonably price. I will always call this company for any work of this type.

I highly do NOT recommend Allen cooling and heating !!! Stay far far away from them. First I call to make an appt and the receptionist confuses the dates so the care giver of the property was waiting for over an hour before we realized they confused the dates . But hey no big deal people make mistakes but then the day of the appt I get a call and the tech wants to come earlier then the schedule appt which normally wouldn’t be an issue how ever I was out of town and already had a lot of coordinating I had to do to get the caregiver to the property to meet him. Paid 180$ to “fix” the problem after I was told they wouldn’t charge anything to just come out and tell me if the well pump just needed to be repaired or replaced . But I’m thinking “hey… wasn’t part of the agreement but at least they “fixed” the problem .” So I come home a month later and low behold the problem is not fixed . So after much attitude and many calls the owner comes out to “ prime “ the pump stating that was the issue. Which mind you he didn’t even prime correctly . Which wasn’t even the issue. I stated the pressure is still really low are you sure it’s fixed and he practically ran off the property stating the pressure would return. Mind you it’s Friday the weekend is coming and now we’ve been without water for three days. It’s now Tuesday and we still don’t have running water. After numerous calls and much attitude they tell us they will not be coming out any more nor refund us our money. We paid for them to correct the issue but instead they CUT wires that were not suppose to be cut!! They admit there was a short somewhere but rather then fixing the short they just cut the wire completely out. We had no problem with paying more money if it was a different issue then originally what they thought. But if they weren’t sure how to fix the current issue they should have just said so instead of creating a bigger problem for us!!! Update *** the wire was not shorted The submersible well pump just needed to be replaced and now because they cut the wire that was not bad we have to dig a whole new drench to replace the wire they cut that wasn’t even bad. Stay far far away from these people !!!!!
