I got scammed! $3700 for 2 hours.They could not clear the trap it needed to be removed. The guy said "A big job, need to come back with a crew" "a lot of digging a lot of work" I understood they were going to have to replace about 8 ft of buried pipe. the next morning one guy came down a small hole replace a small piece of pipe and was done in 1 hour 50 minutes. They're okay with the Roto-Rooter part do not have them do any other work.

Needed to have the outside spigot repaired and a tech came out and fixed it in a matter of minutes... so we thought. Had to call back due to the original fix not fully fixing the issue, was pleasantly surprised when a technician arrived within the hour. Tafary checked the issue and found the best solution right away. A quick trip to the store and he was back with the materials needed. Within a few minutes the spigot was repaired and looking good as new. It is reassuring to know that someone takes pride in what they do, to ensure the job is done right. Will definitely use Roto Rooter again, and specifically ask for Tafary.

1 star. Called Roto-Rooter Westchester for ONE backed-up drain in my garage. The tech made my husband do his work for him: had him connect the garden hose and stand there holding it while my husband had to flush water between the drains. Then the tech flooded our storm drain and charged $348 plus tax to snake it as "additional work." When I complained in writing, the branch said we asked him to snake both drains from the get go and that someone was already outside hosing so the hose was already there as their response to why they asked my husband to do his job for him? Both lies. Nobody asked for the second drain until he flooded it. Nobody was outside. The hose sat disconnected in our garage until the tech told my husband to hook it up. He lied to cover himself, and the branch backed him without question. Their final answer to my dispute: three sentences, no refund. They disregarded everything I emailed about and didn't address a single thing I asked. A call that cost me $1,131.43. Stay away.
