Tried multiple others who saw the age of our unit and just went straight into a pitch for a new one and bluntly most looked like their were never there to do anything more than paperwork in the first place. Here he came armed with a toolkit opened it up, replaced the capacitor and whilst he acknowledged the age of it no sales pitch at all. BRILLIANT! Whether it works for a day or a year from this point it’s better than the others that visited!

We'd had major issues with our boiler for years, and after trying just about every other place in town with no success, Skurpski figured it out. We have an old house with a boiler for heat. It's always had some issues, but a few years ago it started shutting off every 2-4 hours during the winter. We'd have to go down to the basement, let out some water, and it would kick back on. Which means every morning we wake up and our house was down to 48-58 degrees, depending on how cold it was outside. When we'd leave town for a week each holiday season, we had to either pay someone or ask a neighbor to come by and do that for us 1-2 times per day so our pipes wouldn't freeze. We had guys from at least 4 other companies try and fix it, and no one could figure out the issue. This year I was finally able to get an appointment with Skurpski's, and after a couple of visits their expert technician figured out the issue (it was a mistake made during the installation apparently) and got it fixed. It's been running solid for a week, including our entire Christmas trip, and I couldn't be happier. It also saved us thousands and thousands of dollars, as one of the bigger "expert" companies quoted us $13,000 to replace some parts to fix it (which it turns out, would likely not have fixed it). I recommend this company more than I've ever recommended any company, ever.

These guys are great! Salt of the earth, without all the flash, bling, and baloney of some of the bigger companies. They are careful, and competent. I had a furnace that ran, but abnormally. I waited a bit for service but i wasn't in a rush situation. If i was without heat, i'm sure the service would have been rushed. The technician that came was excellent, very knowledgeable. The problem was fixed before the intense cold arrived and the price was very reasonable.
